Swan Towing has spent the last 35 years investing (and reinvesting) in three core areas: equipment, personnel and reach.
Our equipment
All of our trucks (including our state-of-the-art heavy recovery trucks) are Australian-built in Queensland to handle Australian conditions. Such is our commitment to ensuring we’re prepared for almost any scenario, we often build trucks to meet specific needs, meaning we have trucks with features you won’t find in our competitors’ fleets. What’s more, we also have other equipment to assist with accident clean-ups such as our Incident Response Truck and Trailer, bobcats, forklifts and lighting towers to assist with site clean-ups and site remediation.
Our personnel
The latest equipment and technology is nothing without honest, hard working people. The Swan Towing team is made up of over 40 enthusiastic members with a can-do attitude who work as one to deliver the highest standards of any Towing Company in WA.
You’ll experience the difference from the moment you make contact with our dedicated Operations Team who offer friendly, professional and knowledgeable assistance, working around the clock to respond to your requests. Their job is to make you feel completely confident that you have called a company that cares about your vehicle and can then dispatch the right recovery unit and driver for the job, supplying a realistic arrival time and providing status updates to keep you in the loop. This detail-focused personal touch flows on to your driver, who’ll treat you with respect, work honestly and professionally, and treat your asset like it’s their own.
All of our drivers:
- Are fully trained
- Have the necessary background checks
- Have the necessary tickets for machinery movements
Many of our drivers:
- Have a Marine Security Induction Card (MSIC) to enable access to various wharfs across the state
- Have Dangerous Goods Drivers Licenses and Security Cards
Most of our heavy recovery operators:
- Are fully qualified diesel mechanics

Swan Towing’s strategic setup allows us to work anywhere across the state, at any time. With a HQ based in Midvale supported by depots and subcontractor networks spanning Esperance, Albany, Bunbury, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton, Exmouth, Newman, Port Hedland and Broome, you can rely on us to be there when you need us most.
All of our vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking systems for real time ETA’s and to also enable our base to know where your asset is at any given time.
