What kind of vehicles do you tow?
Our large and extensive WA fleet means we can tow any type of vehicle or machine from the smallest of motorbikes to the largest of trucks and everything in between.
What are your trading hours?
Swan Towing operates 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. You can call us any time of day or night for immediate assistance. However if you are after a quote for a non urgent job please use our Quick Quote button or email operations@swantowing.com.au Please see locations page for office opening hours.
What are my payment options?
Is my car or machinery insured whilst being towed by Swan Towing?
Yes, Swan Towing are fully insured for everything we tow and transport.
Do you take cars to scrap?
Yes we can take your vehicle to a scrap yard of your choice however you will have to supply proof of ownership prior to our driver attending and pay for our service to tow it to the scrap yard.
When is accident towing required?
We always recommend that you arrange to have your vehicle towed following an accident as there may be non apparent damage to your vehicle. We can arrange towing directly to a repairer of your choice or to one of our secure holding yards until such time as your insurance company provides us with instructions.
Do I have to pay for my tow if I have had an accident?
Provided you have full Comprehensive Insurance there generally won’t be any out of pocket expenses for towing. Swan Towing have statewide contracts with several insurance companies and provide quality and expert advice no matter the situation you might find yourself in. Once your claim is lodged with your insurance company please let us know the claim number. If your vehicle is not insured but you are not at fault and the other party has accepted liability and are insured, we may be able to charge their insurance company. If neither are insured then we will require payment before delivering your vehicle to your requested destination.
If I am involved in an accident, is it the first truck at the scene that has to tow my car?
No that is not the case. You have the right to choose who tows your car. If you have an accident and are being hassled by another tow company to sign their book, just tell them you have called Swan Towing and we are on our way. If they persist and are acting in an intimidating or threatening way, just get back into your car and lock your doors if you can and it is safe to do so. Be assured we will have a truck there quickly.
