Safety First – 7 steps you can take

The safety and wellbeing of all parties involved is the number one priority following an accident. You should familiarise and follow these steps if you ever have the unfortunate event of being involved in an accident.

  1. If there is danger, serious or life-threatening injuries call 000.
  2. Call us and one of our Tow Trucks will be dispatched immediately to assist.
  3. Take photos of the scene, damage to your vehicle and the other parties involved if possible.
  4. If driveable and safe to do so, ensure all vehicles are moved off the road and turn your hazard lights on and do not leave the scene.
  5. Obtain insurance details from the other drivers involved in the collision.
  6. Obtain details of any witnesses.
  7. Ensure the Tow truck driver provides you with Tow Authority which contains information on where your vehicle will be towed
